OK trivia time: can you name the two Sabres players who have the third and fifth worst +/- in the NHL?
Let me give you a hint: one is the present Captain of the team and the other is the new Alternate captain.
Need another hint? The captain has five goals in 44 games while playing predominantly on one of the first two lines and the Alternate has a whopping two assists in 30 games this year. 

OK, for you non Sabres fans we are talking about Steve Ott and Mike Weber. Two of Nolan's favorite players. Ted loves talentless players who work hard. The only problem is you CANNOT win with talentless players who work hard. Let's look at Ted's acquisitions since he has arrived: Matt D'Agostino (1 goal and two assists with 15 minutes/game of ice time), xenon Konopka ( old double zero in goals and assists since his arrival) and Linus Omark (one assist in 8 games and 12 minutes of ice time). OK last question: why does Weber at -20 get to play 30 games this year while Braydon McNabb who is zero in +/- only get to play in only 8 games this year with the Sabres???? Maybe our new GM Tim Murray can answer that one after giving us an explanation as to why Grigorenko wasn't even
Give a couple of games after his great showing at the World Juniors to see if there was enough improvement in his game to warrant continued play in Buffalo rather than in Juniors in Quebec.
